Does anybody care?
February 3rd, 2005

Above, front pages of mayor Spanish newspapers today: A nuclear submarine arrives needing repairs at Gibraltar, The Government protests to the UK about the arrival of a nuclear submarine at Gibraltar. Looks like an important piece of news… Ummmmmm, this wasn’t on TV today… So I checked the BBC just to find that noone cares here (see below).

Is it really such a big issue?

Well, it’s possible that it’s not so important because what they’ve been repairing was the submarine’s diesel engine, not the nuclear one. And, also, the political situation at Spain is a bit tense, so people would use any little thing on the newspaper to ask for minister resignations -specially I’d like to see Moratinos’ one… It’s all PSOE’s fault.
P.D.: Are you going to vote on february 20th?
