Connected soon…

Again at the cibercafe

The phone company has promised me I will have a landline in a few days, which will be followed by a broadband internet connection.

Have tons of photos to upload. I’m also planning to take some colorful shots at the famous Notting Hill’s Festival by the end of the month!

Isolated

Hi there!

Some days after arriving at London I have finally found some time to write from a cibercafe. I’m having some trouble having the broadband connection installed at home as the wiring between the house and the exchange is apparently too old :(

Just wanted you to know that London is nice at the moment -it’s not raining every day- and that I’ll be back to normal activity soon. So far I have just got an UK UMTS mobile phone (ask me the number if you feel like calling me!).

Stay tuned!

Sunny Valencia

I’ve been driving around Spain for three weeks in July. The trip started in Canet d’en Berenguer, 30 minutes north from Valencia, whose sandy beaches are one of the best in the area. After attending a friend’s wedding in the small village of Meliana, we enjoyed the warm days and lively nights in the city.

Popular wisdom says that the best rice in the province comes from El Palmar, in the middle of the Nature Reserve of La Albufera. Apart from paella, you can’t leave Valencia without tasting Orxata i Fartons, preferably in the quarter of Alboraia, where it supposedly was invented.

And last but not least, the so called City of Arts and Sciences will pleasantly surprise you with its amazing aquarium and the architectonically perfect IMAX, where I watched Pulse, a Stomp Odyssey.

Now listening… Kodo - O-Daiko
