Donate your idle CPU time

Have you noticed that under normal circumstances, your computer CPU isn’t used at 100% most of the times? This spare processing power could be used for a good cause. You can easily contribute to solve complex scientific problems by installing a small program in your machine. If you don’t want to install the Google Toolbar, you can use these alternative clients.

I have set up a Folding@Home team. If you want to join it you just have to set Team Id=37444 in your client.

The strange couple

Night weakens our hearts,
nights of funeral, wine and roses.
Let’s drink to love and its failures,
perhaps we’ll pick out our defeat.

The Sun cleans the streets, the memory,
it fades fierce passions.
Make up the end of every story,
since love is eternal while it lasts.

[excerpt from La extraña pareja, by Ismael Serrano]
