Why?

Today my sense of reality is in its dickiest state. I’m not talking about how many people I know could have been beaten by one of the bombs that exploded in central Madrid this morning. Because I know tens of them. I’m talking about frustration. About not understanding the world where I live.
And now I’m sitting here, in front of my computer, trying to understand…

I am horrified and deeply sadden to watch the devastation unfold in Madrid. I´m glad to hear that you are safe and I would like to express my deep sorrow for the tragedy.

Oscar, I am with you - these last few days in Madrid have been some of the most intense and confusing of my life.

Shmuel, thanks a lot for your message. Although we’re slowly getting back to normality, I suspect a feeling of anger and sorrow will remain in the background for the rest of our lives.
