Cultural Capital of Europe in 2002
September 22nd, 2003
| Salamanca is one of the Castilian cities with the best collection of bars, cafes and restaurants. Its enormous student population has lowered the prices to a point where you can get a caƱa and a huge tapa for less than a euro. The architecture in the old city is awesome. You can consider yourself very lucky if you find the frog in the facade of the Universidad Civil, and the astronaut in one of the entrances of the Cathedral. After the third time I’ve been in Salamanca I can’t stop admiring it’s lively atmosphere and incredible historical buildings.
On another front, I just found these old photos of some ceremony we had months ago… with Juan, Alvaro and me talking about business. |
