San Isidro and Caballer

September 2nd, 2003

I had never seen live bullfighting before. My first time was in San Isidro this year (thanks Juan for the tickets!). Dunno if I liked it, though. It’s very weird to heard the sharp scream from the bull when it’s being killed. San Isidro is the patron saint of Madrid. There is some kind of celebration everywhere in the city. What I liked most, however, were the fireworks by Caballer. Fireworks experts have the satisfaction of sharing the happiness of town festivals. This quote is engraved in Caballer’s fireworks plant in Valencia, one of the most important in the world. And after a long San Isidro day, some tapas and a night out with friends is the best thing you can do.
