War? No, thanks!

I couldn’t resist uploading this imaginative poster by Luis.

Help stop crazy Uncle Bush taking us to a War with no meaning (apart from oil).

Demonstration against War

About one million people went out to the streets as part of an immense demonstration in a number of cities in Spain. Eighty percent of the population here in Spain is against War. I wonder how a government can ignore this striking response. Especially a government which has been democratically chosen. The same happens in many other countries in Europe. After the event we had some drinks and tapas! The people in the photos are Sandra, Laura and Pepe.

p.s. Luis, your photo has disappeared from the camera :-/

Ode to my camera

My beloved Canon Digital IXUS camera died yesterday. Many could point out that its life was cut short. But after more than two years, and 10484 pictures (an average of 13,3 shots per day), it has beaten all the odds. Its memory and legacy will live on forever in our hearts (and of course, in osierra.com). We will miss it terribly and hold its memory dear.

A night out with Fer

Fernando spent a night in Madrid. We had some tapas and went out together with Juan, Ana and Maite. Fer is on his way to Zaragoza and will work there for the next three months or so. We don’t have many excuses for not paying a visit to him one of these coming weekends :)

Talking about kotbullars… I got a catalogue from KTH Alumni with all contacts (with work addresses) from the same year I was studying there. Cool!

p.s. The photos are taken with a brand new Nokia 7650. A serious drawback: its built-in camera has no flash.
