My greeting card for you

Hope you had a warm and happy Xmas day wherever you happen to be. A special mention for my friends in Venezuela, who are finding it harder than us. Klaybert & Luis, I wish you the best for the near future!

You’ve got mail!

Not long from now, I’ll be leaving the North Pole for my long trip on Christmas Eve to visit you. Even though it’s a very long journey, I am looking forward to visiting your town most of all!

Mrs. Claus and I have been checking with the elves, and they tell us that you have been trying to be very good this year and have been kind to all your friends and that makes Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer very happy! Santa’s helpers have been very busy in the workshop making a special gift just for you. And since you have been so nice since last Christmas, Santa’s sleigh will be filled with surprises for you and all your family.

I must go now and get ready for my big trip around the world. Be sure to go to bed early today, because I only stop by when boys and girls are fast asleep in their beds. The reindeer and I will try to be very quiet when we land on your roof, and if you can, please leave us a little treat by the Christmas tree. Ho Ho Ho…

Merry Christmas, love,
Santa

Karting afternoon

Last Thursday I raced against my colleagues… I had never gone karting before. My driving wasn’t quite refined and the proof is that I crashed many times and caused the yellow flag to be risen in the circuit. Apart from the initial embarrassment, I enjoyed it quite a lot. The indoor track is called Carlos Sainz, maybe we could organize a kotbullar race. Hmmmm…

The Two Towers

Exactly one year ago (2001.12.21) I went to the movies to see Lord of the Rings. Today, I was kind of disappointed by the second part. The plot gets extremely slow in some parts – there’s a war that lasts almost one third of the movie. The scenery is pretty much the same as in its predecessor and the comic gaps are sometimes silly. To make it worse, it’s a movie with no beginning and no end. The best part of the evening were these photos taken with some friends there…

Teppanyaki with gohan

Had dinner at a Mexican chain of Japanese restaurants some days ago. It’s surely an experience you should try. Although I was initially scared of the raw fish nickname of Japanese cuisine, the innovative and fresh combination of tastes captivated my palate, which is not discerning by nature.

Don’t have time to post!

Hi @ll!

I’m now working full-time in Madrid (by “full-time” you can understand 8am to 8pm). You already know how the first days are… I haven’t had any time to post since my debut. To make it worse, just after work I have a daily training session. Nevertheless, I promise to stabilize my agenda soon -it’s a matter of days- and start posting regularly again. I like pretty much my new job, although it requires a lot of commitment and effort; btw I’m going karting on thursday and having a xmas dinner afterwards… if I don’t have any accident while racing ;)
