Erasmus Photo Contest

November 11th, 2002

Have participated in a photo contest about the Erasmus experience. I have a collection of more than eight thousand photographs, and was really difficult to choose one to send. Couldn’t decide between these eight. Hope I’ve chosen the right one! :-S

p.s. I’m back in Madrid, but for a short time. I’ll be flying to London in one day and spend a week there!

    Okay, from left to right and top to bottom: (1) sunset at Stockholm [Sweden], (2) cliffs in Bridlington [England], (3) Stockholm’s subway [Sweden], (4) main square of Helsinki [Finland], (5) lake by Skilstuna [Sweden], (6) vanilla sky in Frescati [Sweden], (7) the fiords at Narvik [Norway] and (8) The Deep aquarium in Hull [England]

    Ok, 5 and 7 are my favourites! Do you mean Eskilstuna, or is there really a place called Skilstuna? Strange name in that case, very difficult to say in swedish…

    Sorry! I meant Eskilstuna (the small town close to Arlanda). Obviously I’m forgetting my (lite) Swedish. Anyway, the photo was taken in a trip to the traditional Xmas market they have there. The fog made it impossible to distinguish the lake from the sky… amazing!
