| I got a letter from The Royal Institute of Technology this morning. I’m now a member of KTH Alumni, a network of former KTH students. In general, Spanish University works much worse than Universities in Europe. The proof is that after finishing my Spanish Degree, it’ll take three years to get the official Diploma. Not to mention there’s no official Alumni Network here in Spain. |

There’s something you can do about this.

| Grease, The Musical is being performed at the Victoria Palace Theater in London. I had never been in an English musical before, and don’t regret having paid twenty pounds for the ticket (the show is worth every penny). Grease illustrates a culture and dynamism that were left behind us more than forty years ago. What I liked more, however, are all those catchy tunes and lyrics. |

I’m back from Barcelona now. The interview process took much more time than I expected and I actually didn’t have much time to meet my friends there. Fortunately, I got to meet most of them for a dinner at Marc&Arnau’s. Le chef Marc cooked a tasty selection of dishes, including rice flavoured with banana sauce (which was awesome!). The people in the photo are, from left to right and excluding me: Noelia, Josep, Arnau, Sabina, Marc and Jordi. We also had a phone conversation with Roger… it was ages since I didn’t have any piece of news from him. Hope to be back in Barcelona soon. It’s a fantastic city.

During your lifetime, you’ll eat about 60,000 pounds of food; that’s the weight of about 6 elephants! Broccoli is the only vegetable that is a flower. The average child will eat 15 pounds of cereal a year. The venus flytrap is quite the carnivore. It can eat a cheeseburger! Peanuts are one of the ingredients of dynamite. Apples are more efficient than caffeine in keeping people awake in the mornings.
p.s. I’m on my way to Barcelona. Will be offline until wednesday… humph!

The photos from London are online now, as promised Of course, the first things I wanted to see were the Tube and the Big Ben. I enjoyed Madame Tussaud’s museum quite a lot; there I met my friends Spock and Kylie. The British Museum is very recommendable, but you’ll need several days to see all the exhibitions. Don’t miss a flight at the London Eye neither, if you can afford it! And if you get extremely bored and need some arcade action, then head to Trocadero, but don’t expect to find anything cultural there, he he. |

| … is what you’ll feel when you see the price list at this fantastic pub in the 42th level of the Tower42 in London, one of the highests around there. A jewel known by not so many people in the city of the cities. Needless to say, the views are awesome, especially by night. Expect to pay more than 25 squids for a bottle of wine.
I arrived at Madrid this afternoon, although I’m planning to fly back to London rather soon. Will be posting about my favorite London highlights during the next few days.
p.s. Errrr… I promise to upload some photos soon. |

Today I’m reporting from Leicester Square (pronounced as leis-ter). I’ve done a lot of sightseeing and am really tired of so much walk. So I decided to drop by the ciber again and have my daily Internet dosis. London is far better than I expected. It’s not like everything else I’ve seen in England – which doesn’t mean that I don’t like that “everything else”. But… London is different. I’m now going to have a well-deserved pint and continue my tourist role just afterwards. Have to hurry up, I haven’t seen Piccadilly Square yet!
