The best British comedy since Bridget Jones’s Diary. You confirm it by just reading the tagline: “Who wants to cook Aloo Gobi when you can bend a ball like Beckham?”. Bend it like Beckham is about a young Indian girl -Jess- who’s addicted to playing football. Her dream is to play like Beckham (Manchester United’s real-life star). But the movie is not addressed to football fans. On the contrary, it’s more about how life with parents is and how different cultures clash.

    THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We’ve been searching the web world and finally found the lyrics to “Hot hot hot.” We bought the dvd and it is just wonderful. We enjoy movies, programs, etc. where we can experience “life” from different cultural backgrounds. BTW, the lyrics in english can be found at different lyric websites. I found several by entering “hot hot hot lyrics” in a GOOGLE search. The original song is latin/caribbean. We enjoy Bina Mistry’s version the best.

The girl also did not turn up in the first para!)

    Hey from a frenchman! Even if it’s been said a lot : thanks a lot for the lyrics of Hot Hot Hot. The translation helps a lot too!
    I’d like to add that i’ve been playing the Steel Drums (caribean drums) for years and that song we can play !! I was thus very surprised to hear it in the credits! I can tell that when we get to play it, I’m even more motivated hehe
